Jeff Thurman and Paul Hagler, Jr. spoke on Asset Management vs. Asset Maintenance at the Congress in Anaheim, California. Asset Management and Maintenance Management are used interchangeably. There are some common elements. Both are valuable and unique. Many agencies have multiple Asset Managemetn systems with elements of Maintenance Management.
