Rights-of-Way Management System
LA Consulting was retained to evaluate and establish standards as related to trench repair in public rights of way including reengineering of the current process, establishment of trench repair standards, and review of roadway damage outside of the trench cut. LA Consulting interviewed 14 utilities and interacted with each to develop guidelines. Non-destructive testing was done on the trenches to evaluate impact of trench on roadway. The project standard options are now being developed.
In addition, the cities of West Hollywood, Redondo Beach, and Culver City have joined the process and their review is now underway.
