The American Society of Civil Engineers represents more than 145,000 members of the civil engineering profession in 174 countries. Founded in 1852, ASCE is the nation’s oldest engineering society.
ASCE stands at the forefront of a profession that plans, designs, constructs, and operates society’s economic and social engine – the built environment – while protecting and restoring the natural environment.
Mr. Lorick has been apart of the organization since 1975. The award he received this past weekend commemorated his acheivements as a Civil Engineer and also for being an active member of the organization American Society of Civil Engineers. He was presented the award by Mark Woodson, President of ASCE and Ken Rosenfield, Chapter Leader.
